Let’s me introduce. My name is Inna Alexandrovna. Today we are going to develop grammar and speaking skills.

Today you’ll learn about such pronouns as Some and Any. We’ll do some exercises and have fun.

Let’s play a guessing game. Look! This is my lunch. (on the board)

What is there in the basket? Askthequestions. Use this model:

Is there a … in the basket? (on the board)

-         Is there a sweet in the basket?

-         There isn’t a sweet in the basket.

Ask questions as many as possible until you have guessed.

-         Yes. You are right. There is an apple in the basket.

 

Look at the screen and listen attentively please.

 

Ok. And now look at the board, please. Here is the table.

Some/ any – немного, несколько

Not any/ no – нетничего

-         Which word do we use in affirmative sentences: “a” “some” “any” or “no”?

-         “a” with countable singular nouns and “some” with countable plural nouns and uncountable nouns

 

-         Which word do we use in questions: “a” “some” “any” or “no”?

-         a” with countable singular nouns and “any” with countable plural nouns and uncountable nouns

 

-         Which word do we use in negative sentences: “a” “some” “any” or “no”?

-         a” or “no” with countable singular nouns and “any” or “no” with countable plural nouns and uncountable nouns

 

no = nota/ notany – в английском языке нельзя использовать два отрицательных слова. Нельзя сказать: Thereisn’tnosweet.

Note!Toast, fruit, cereal – are uncountable!
